Last year I let a pregnant stray cat into the office to have her kittens. 5 days after she did, on 2/6/98, the office was destroyed by a fire started by a water cooler in the office next door. I went in and rescued the cat and her kittens, but we lost everything else in the process. The rescue made the front page of a couple newspapers then, but everybody was laid off 8 days before Christmas except one Vo-Tech/Rehab guy and myself. We've been getting lied to and stonewalled by the companies responsible (Oasis Manufacturing, Chubb Insurance and Coca-Cola Bottling) for over a year. While they're passing the buck amongst one another, we're going out of business and losing our jobs. This is the only place I know to turn. Please take a look at our site and write or call those companies with your opinion. We only want your e-mail and vocal support - NOTHING ELSE! The only people who owe us anything are the ones who are destroying our business and our jobs. Our next is a CHRISTMAS CD, Rock and Roll Christmas Show, which is at the plant, and will be available through Hep Cat Distribution in a couple of weeks...we're touring every single day between Thanksgiving and X-mas on that one. January is recording time for the next studio full-length, and after that, touring with The Big Six!

Hi! I don't Know situation in the USA, but in Finland roots music is getting up really fast. But because Finland is so small country ther will never be enough audience for the bands and thats why the bands are in bad situation because they can't have enough money to survive. That's the main reason why so many good groups has break down. So I hope that more finnish bands would have opportunity to play some other countries too. There are few bands like the Barnshakers and Laika & the Cosmonauts who have had that opportunity and they are doin' well. There is also one new band from Finland called GazooBill which is doing great gigs has a great 4 songs CD ( you can get it from Hepcat records, I guess ). Get that CD and check it out whats going on in Finland

I found your page and saw that you did not have anything for Phoenix and just thought I would let you know about my radio show here in Tucson called the Checkered Strip on monday night 6-8 and features rockabbilly, big band swing, traditional ska and surf.
